Mines and miners brighten Southwest mining scene
Charles Gracey of El Dorado canyon left Tuesday night to buy a big reduction plant for the Southwestern Mining Company as ore bodies rise in the region and mills expand capacity. George Lockwood, a noted local prospector, reports rich ore at White Hills and Daisy mines with several tons ready daily. An Arizona School of Mines study by Prof. Blake highlights a high value crude carbonate from Gulf of Califia region, to be exploited by Andres Resbeil for San Francisco markets. Local society notes include visits, departures, and a farewell to Mr Bob Pringle in Goldfield as the community records ongoing mining and social activity.
