Arizona Water Rights History and Local Anecdotes
A historical column recalls the Kent Decree of 1910 and a large 25 000 acre Well ton Mohawk water suit in Arizona. It notes the Salt River Valley water rights framework, mentions Phoenix Title & Trust Co. tracting 1500 former owners, and cites prominent attorneys. The piece then offers light vignettes on traffic safety for livestock, a vaudeville anecdote about Harry Nace, and assorted Arizona tidbits.
