Boys Ranch to Open in Arizona Near Chandler
Arizona Boys Ranch will open Friday on an 188 acre tract ten miles southeast of Chandler. Superintendent Ted W Turner and Mrs Turner will host an open house for press and radio from 2 to 5 pm. Two boys have been selected for residence with eight more to follow after screening, expected within a month. Norway's leading drug company reports an improved process for producing nitrogen.

Huntsville Texas September 25 A 42 year old Houston cafe drive in operator was electrocuted here shortly after being told he was sole heir to an estimated 50000 dollar estate left by a deceased relative. The accident occurred when he touched an exposed wire while inspecting a shop area.

Probate Court Names Husband Mitchell Heir in Murder Case
Probate Judge Clem McClelland in Houston ruled Steve Mitchell the sole heir under Texas community property law after his wife's murder. Mitchell, executed in 1950 for the Dec 1949 killing, declined to discuss the inheritance and said money would not help him now. Mrs Bryant of Natchez sued for damages, contesting the heir status.
