A hit and run led to a second crash near Casa Grande as Corbin, driving with three passengers, was stopped by patrols after a rear end collision that involved John Wing of Luke Air Force Base. Fort Worth Carswell AFB released 23 names of men killed in a B-36 crash near Albuquerque New Mexico. Two survived. Regular crew and passengers listed with ranks and hometowns Fort Worth predominates. War Criminal Seeks To Stay In United States

Ada L. Bass Pioneer Dies in Arizona at 83
Ada L. Bass 83 a pioneer Arizona resident and widow of Grand Canyon guide W. W. Bass died Saturday at her home in Phoenix. Funeral services were planned in Wickenburg and graveside services at Grand Canyon. Born in Worchester New York she moved to Prescott in 1890 and later resided at Grand Canyon before returning east in 1896. She was survived by two daughters Mrs. F. D. Patterson and Mrs. Mable Ott of Phoenix and a son W. G. Bass of Wickenburg.
