Lost Dutchman legend revived with anniversary Gold Trek planned
The Dons Club will announce the annual Gold Trek to Superstition Mountain for March 5, reviving myths about the Lost Dutchman. Old records reveal a 160 acre claim sold to Andrew Starer by Jacob Waltz in 1878 with a life care clause, while Sheriff Chenowith once clashed with Waltz’s ally. Traffic changes in Phoenix improved safety as 3rd Street became a full boulevard to Washington.

He said communist ideology offers the correct world view and that his years in Soviet prisons were not wasted. The homecoming group split roughly evenly between Communist converts and anti communists. Some anti-Communists say 150,000 Japanese died in Soviet camps and about 6,000 remain alive in Soviet areas.
