Inventory Tax Cut Intended By Assessors
Arizona's county assessors voted to cut inventory taxes from 60 to 45 percent aligning with general equalization. The Arizona Assessors Association, though six of fourteen attended, urged uniform forms for tax on urban improvements and agricultural property and urged budget support for revaluation surveys. Supervisors in Maricopa County consider actions if the change occurs. Pima County supervisors have not decided. Association members named include Wiley Parsons and Brady Collins with regional officials from Yavapai, Yuma, Coconino, Mohave, and Maricopa counties.
