Mattson Boy Kidnapping Still Mystery After 13 Year Hunt
Tacoma December 26 193? The Mattson case remains unsolved after Charles Mattson aged 10 was abducted from his Tacoma home on December 26 1936. FBI and other agencies have questioned thousands of suspects with 117 still under suspicion. The ransom demand of 28000 was never paid and the boy’s body was found near Everett 15 days later in a shallow grave. The only solid clue is a description by the children who were present that night.
