The hearing continued as Robert Wallace testified for National Securities Inc regarding an offer tied to profit and loss. Union Title was placed in receivership April 5 and the court ordered the title plant sold at public auction.
Cedar City Utah two Phoenix men were injured in a light plane crash after taking off from Beryl Junction. Pilot Stanley L Beam and passenger James Harder were returning from church service. Beam, 2301 W Northern, remained hospitalized with a broken nose and right arm. Harder was set for release. Officials cited water in the carburetor and a fuel tank as possible causes.
In Los Angeles a lawsuit seeking nearly 2.5 million dollars was filed in superior court against television host Dick Clark. The action was brought by attorney Milton R. Gunter on behalf of General Marketing Corp.

Manuel Chavarrez Saint found guilty on all six counts in a heroin sale concealment and transportation case. A federal narcotics agent testified about 6.5 ounces of heroin bought on November 16 and two earlier purchases. Saint, 60, of 1601 E Sunland, disappeared after Friday's session.
