Navy Divers Recover Bodies From Cuba Airliner Crash
Navy divers recovered wreckage and mangled bodies from the Key West crash sites. By 10 a.m. twenty three bodies had been brought to the surface and taken to morgues as divers worked in shifts to search the submerged wreckage of the four engined transport and the Beechcraft trainer. The airliner carried 34 passengers and five crew from Miami to Havana, colliding with the Beechcraft near Key West in a blast like noise.
