The Stanley County schools have risen rapidly under County Superintendent Miss Grace A. Reed, with ampler schools from 144 to 180 and teachers from 201 to 276. A political notice urges voters to back county division to curb rising taxes, arguing two counties would ease the burden and detailing prior division efforts and local reactions.
