Joseph D. Morrison of Topbar attended the State College at Brookings then went to Plankinton to judge livestock and grain at the county fair. He was elected treasurer of the Miltonian Literary Society at their Saturday meeting, a achievement welcomed by his father EK A Morrison and friends in Stanley county.
