Tolton elected chairman. several bonds and salaries approved. bills listed and paid. session continued with adjournments and committee assignments to audit treasurer accounts. January 4 and 5 sessions ongoing with further payments approved and officers sworn or continued.
Northwestern Lyman county townships of Capa and Van Metre seek separation to join Stanley county. Legislature cannot unilaterally divide counties. voters in both Lyman and Stanley must approve at a special election. The Review suggests trading Stamford and adjacent township in Stanley for the Lyman townships.
