Small cyclone damages town east of Robertson lumber yard
A Thursday afternoon cyclone struck the east part of town with homes and sheds damaged. The Robertson lumber yard area saw shattered buildings, Frank Rood’s under construction barn incurred minor damage, and a large structure shifted on its foundation with the roof out of plumb. A local loafer claimed extra bizarre effects but officials dismiss the tale as overheated exaggeration.
