On Monday evening September 25, Mr. and Mrs. Fields Johnson of 326 No 31st Street held a lavish fourth anniversary party in West Philadelphia. The hall and parlor boasted florals and an orchestra led by Prof. Robert Covington. Guests in full dress enjoyed seafood courses from a top Philadelphia caterer and left with well wishes for many more anniversaries. Attendees included Mr. and Mrs. William Owens, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hodge, Rev and Mrs. I. G. Parks, Mrs. Frazier of New York, and several other friends and relatives.

Miss M Inez Cassey Receives Long Service Tribute
Miss Inez Cassey who died last Saturday at 243 DeLancey Street was born July 22, 1851 in Philadelphia. She educated at I C Y and Jam School then led Kindergarten work at O W Catto School and taught twenty three years. She was an accomplished pianist and organist and held church posts. Funeral conducted by Archdeacon Henry L Phillips with Joseph T Seth in charge, interment at St James the Less Cemetery.

Nellie Nagle 37 of 1205 Brown Street was found dead Wednesday in a stable loft at 1021 Reno Street, bleeding from a hemorrhage. Samuel Jenkins 55 was arrested on the 10th and held without bail by Magistrate for investigation after he offered shelter to Nagle at her own request and later claimed concern for her health.
