Soldiers of Twenty-fourth Infantry Sentenced at Waco
Six colored soldiers of the Twenty-fourth Infantry were found guilty by a court martial at Camp MacArthur for destroying signs denying service to colored people and resisting police. Five received five years at Fort Leavenworth with labor. one got ten years. They are discharged from the army with loss of pay and allowances. The finding was sent to the War Department in Washington.
