Lewis M. Mintess 80 died at his home 85 Addison Street on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held from St Thomas P E church on Monday. A native of this city he helped found the Citizens Club and belonged to the Coachman's Aid Quaker City Masonic Enterprise and Douglass Hospital board of directors. Body of Brave Youth Recovered
Albert E. White, one of the city’s brave youths, disappeared December 10, 1917, when he slipped from the steamship Antaglio during a voyage to France. His parents, Mr and Mrs Charles White of 1615 Carpenter Street, were notified his body was found and sent to the Base Naval Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, for burial in the National Cemetery.
