Last Tuesday at the Parrish House of the Church of the Crucifixion a cultured audience gathered for CM Ardley Smith's lecture. Mrs Addie W Dickerson presided and Miss Ethel Smith led songs with her sister. The talk offered factual, impartial detail on religious immunions of the colored man, delivered in a delightful, instructive vein. Rev H L Phillipe gave the invocation and benediction, with Dr Imes at the piano for the Doxology. Mrs Dunbar to lecture on the 24th inst.

Death of Miss Cordelia Webb in Philadelphia
Cordelia Webb daughter of the late John Webb died Easter Monday April 8 after a long illness. She taught at Charles Sumner School Camden N J for nineteen years and was active in St Thomas P E Church and its Sunday school. Her funeral at 9 30 a m featured a high requiem mass at 10 30 a m with clergy from Annunciation St Thomas and nearby, burial service read by ministers. Four sisters and one brother survive. she belonged to a oldest respected Philadelphia family.
