Pneumonia Sufferer Tries Faith Cure and Dies
Baltimore March 15 Mrs Carrie Morrison 54 died at 1845 Lorman Street after she attempted faith healing for a severe pneumonia. Her son Norman Allen said calling a physician or taking medicine opposed her religion. Dr Clark 1306 Gilmor Street was summoned when the faith cure failed. she died fifteen minutes after his arrival.

Helena March 11 A petition in voluntary bankruptcy was filed in U S District Court by Scott Bond leading farmer of Arkansas and his two sons Theophilis and Ulysses Bond. Liabilities total about 550600 with assets around 100000. Bond was a friend of Booker T Washington and contributed to Tuskegee Institute and was active in the National Negro Business League.

In March 1911 Elk Run Telephone Company was incorporated with 5000 capital stock. It built 11 miles of service that year and now operates 40 miles of wire serving 90 subscribers. Grace Cothron denied new trial by Judge Boyd
Grace Cothron and her husband Clarence were convicted of murder and sentenced to a short penitentiary term. Chief Judge Boyd ruled against granting a new trial in Baltimore on March 15. The defendants were linked to the murder of Harmer Jones and Jas. Weldon of Philadelphia.
