Commencement at Metropolitan Opera House Honors Local Graduates
The 16th commencement of the University of Pennsylvania was held at the Metropolitan Opera House last Tuesday at 10 a.m. Among hundreds of degree recipients were sixteen local racial group members. Degrees went to Harry S Blackiston, Preston C Johnson, John T Anderson, Aldrich R Burton, and others in Medicine, Dentistry, Arts and Sciences, Education, and Veterinary Medicine. Burton appointed interne at Howard University for fall duties.
