House of St Michaels and All Angels to mark 30 years
The House of St Michaels and All Angels for young colored cripples has operated since 1886-87 with roots at 4012 Ludlow Street and later 43rd and Wallace Streets. It relocated to 611 No 43rd Street with a new home readied by December and will hold a benediction service on February 2nd led by Bishop Rhinelander. The institution welcomes all eligible children regardless of creed and invites public support via Rev J DaCosta Harewood and Sister Katharine.
