A trio of youths hunting a rabbit near the Roxborough Gun Club house started a brush fire when they smoke out the animal. The blaze spread to brush and leaves under the porch, drawing help from the day shift at the local pump station. A club member assessed the damage at nearly $100, and the rabbit’s fate remains unknown.
Police report a new kind of highway robbery by older girls in Philadelphia. Two eight to ten year old victims Gertrude Svenson and Beatrice Kelly were stripped near Nineteenth street below Tasker, then sent home in scant attire.
