Patterson, executor and trustee of Emma Thomas's estate, is charged with embezzling $9000. He was arrested July 31, bail set at $3000 for Sept 9, but fled. Weaver cites no filed bail bond and declines action. Thomas questions why Patterson was at large if not under bail.
R C Kerens Republican national committeeman from Kerens Missouri says Roosevelt is the logical candidate and should be unanimously renominated and re elected He notes cordial relations with Roosevelt and plans to support him This stance deepens Missouri factional fight as lukewarm partisans rally to his side.

Patrick Carroll, known in Philadelphia sports circles, was knocked down yesterday at Seventh and Walnut. He was taken to Pennsylvania Hospital unconscious. Charles 1112 Federal Street, charged with the assault, is held on $500 bail for a March 4 hearing. Fullerton says Carroll struck first. he replied with a club. Carroll’s injuries are not dangerous.
Central Railroad detectives nabbed four Philadelphia youths for theft in Jersey City. Names and ages listed: John Dienna 16 of 1018 South Eleventh, Angelo Frena 14 of 827 Montrose, Herman Jefferson 14 of 1607 Federal, George Young 18 of Rose Street. They possessed eighteen pairs of shoes and other loot.
John Drum of Lowestreet Nicetown was held to answer highway robbery. Harry Bowers a soldier from Kensington Avenue 2627 filed the complaint saying Drum and a companion took $10 and clothing. Bowers met Drum on Friday night and alerted Policeman Lovett who arrested him.
Reynolds also known as Amboy Red was at Central Station yesterday during detectives arrival from Lancaster who have a warrant. He is charged with attempted robbery of the national end at Gap. Of the criminals arrested, Chase and Kane remain in the Philadelphia police lineup on Eighth and Cherry streets since February.

The Savannah with Captain Harding rescued the twelve crew members who were later brought in, and stood by as the Prescott went down. Built Camden, Maine in 1899, the vessel measured 300 feet long, 44.3 feet beam and 2% feet hold depth.

Federal prisoners William M. Jacobs William L. Kendig and Thomas J. Stewart were moved yesterday from the Eastern Penitentiary to the United States prison at Atlanta Georgia by Deputy Marshal Myer under an Attorney General order authorizing transfers to the Atlanta federal prison. They were sentenced in the United States District Court for the district on June 5 1800 to imprisonment for 12 months.
Fourteen killed and many injured in a sequence of snowslides near the Liberty Bell Mine on Smuggler Mountain, Telluride. Rescue efforts continue as several bodies remain buried in a 2000 foot gorge. among the dead are former graduates of the State School of Mines and a former county clerk.
Signor Marconi returned aboard the American Line steamer Philadelphia from Southampton. He reports experiments with his wireless system during the voyage and says he received messages from the Cornwall wireless station at distances of 1500 miles and 2000 miles, noting the reduced elevation of the Philadelphia.
Colonel A Loudon Snowden chairs a citizens committee appointed by Mayor Ashbridge to receive Prince Henry in Philadelphia on March 10. A special sub committee including A Cadwalader Converse Harrison Caven Warburton and Foulkrod will escort the prince to Washington and then here. The sub committee will meet the mayor in the city office tomorrow. Louisville plans a hearty welcome with arrival at Union Station at 7 45 pm and a reception by Mayor Granger German society representatives and city officials. A special train will bring the prince to Indianapolis at 7 55 pm.
CHATTANOOGA TENN March 1 H V Boynton and H Clay Evans along with the local Chamber of Commerce arrange reception and entertainment for Prince Henry and his party. The entourage will arrive at 7 A M and visit Lookout Mountain. Newell Sanders will present a battlefields album to the Prince on behalf of citizens. The party departs Chattanooga at 10 30 A M for Nashville.
The body of Dr. B. N. Williams of Philadelphia, missing since January 31 in the Pemigewasset Valley, was found in snow near the Warren village to Glen Ott road. He was 28 and had a history of mental illness since an illness in Germany, leading to the belief he wandered off exhausted and froze to death.
