Entire town destroyed in Roselle tornado warning
A tornado swept through northwest of Larned Kansas on June 19 destroying Roselle eighteen miles west of Larned. Two grain elevators and every house in Roselle were wiped out. Ed Christian's farmhouse north of Roselle was unroofed and a side blown in. Three miles east barns and outbuildings were demolished. James Christian suffered a crushed foot and Ray Bindley was badly injured. Damage extended to Burdetten and Jetmore area with many buildings lost and crops harmed.
