He was met by his two sons and the party walked to the Murray Hill Hotel. He comes as a witness in litigation arising from the Marine Bank failure and will remain about a week.

New Haven man Benjamin R. Hitchcock died this morning. Born in Bethlehem in 1806, he moved to New Haven in 1825 and worked as a journeyman printer until eighteen months ago, reputedly the oldest type setter in the United States. He once served as Collector of the Port of New Haven under a Democratic administration.
Louis Auch, 35, German resident of 244 North Fifteenth Street, was arrested Saturday by Special Officers Swank and Watermeyer of the Ninth district on a charge of robbing the cigar store of Charles Boldstatter at 1543 to Avenue. He was held on $800 bond to answer Magistrate Riley. Indications for today note fair, colder weather with a high of 40.2, low 20.8, and mean 81.3.
