Woman commits suicide by stepping before fast Lansdale train
At Cheltenham station a well dressed Miss Herdman of Glenside walked on the platform for an hour before stepping in front of a Lansdale train. Dog Chase in Alley Ends With Fine for Rath
George Rath of Pottstown kept a trained duck while neighbor Harry Conrad owned a trained dog. The pair met in the alley and performed tricks until Rath, seeing danger to the duck, struck the dog with a club breaking its hind leg. Magistrate Musselman fined Rath ten dollars and costs.
