Reindeer Graze Experiment Planned on Gravina Island
A. H. Stensland has a U S Forest Service permit to graze reindeer on Gravina Island. He will move his herd there as soon as arrangements are complete, believing Gravina suitable after successful Southeast Alaska reindeer trials like Annette Island. He plans to personally tend the herd, aiming for better results than the Annette Island example.
