Railroad man killed near Atlas mines in Evansville
J C Farrabee aged 65 a well known brakeman on the local railroad was crushed to death Saturday morning near the Atlas mines. He died after being caught beneath a coal car as a string of loaded cars moved. Coroner Kinman conducted an inquest and the body was sent to Evansville for funeral services at 3 PM Monday from 708 Division Street. Survived by wife Lena Morlock married last April a C and E L station matron, son Arthur a freight conductor and sister Mrs Laura Rayhill of Washington Indiana.
