Everett Meyers son of William and Rhoda Meyers born August 9 1875 died in Albuquerque after health decline. He married Effie Hardin in 1910 and had a son who died in 1909. Survived by widow, father, sisters Clara Wavisson Lulu Chamberlain Lucy Mabel and brothers George Oran Merrill. active in Knights of Pythias Odd Fellows and Masons. Memorial rites planned under the local Masonic order.

Sarah E Cook died at her home near Blackburn Tuesday at 10 45 am after a year long illness. She was 40 years 1 month and seven days old. Survived by husband George and three children Hazel 13 Grace 5 and a one month old. Funeral by Rev Golden A Smith at Anderson Chapel at 2 pm Thursday, burial in adjoining cemetery.

The grand jury adjourned Wednesday having returned seventeen indictments. No arrests have been made by Sheriff Bryan yet and several of the boys are said to be losing sleep awaiting developments.
