Death of Virgil Kinman Son of James E Kinman
Virgil William Kinman born September 22 1902 at Pec eraburg died December 2 1921 after a brief illness. He was the youngest of five children and grew with Presbyterian teachings. He worked with Indian Creek Coal Company and showed carpentry and mechanical skill. Funeral rites were held at home Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev Mc Clung and Revs Smith Simpson officiating. Interment Walnut Hills Cemetery. survive parents two sisters two brothers and many relatives and friends.

Bank Robbery at Patoka Ends With Capture
A masked robber, who gave the name Lee Carl, held up the National Bank at Patoka on Monday afternoon. He took $872 from the cash drawer, fled, but was wounded and eventually surrendered after a gunfight with a posse led by Sheriff Flowers. About $181 was not recovered. the suspect was jailed at Princeton.

Mrs Sarah Wiscover 83 widow of Levi Wiscover was burned to death at her Iva home Saturday about 12 30 pm. Her grandson found her dying with clothes aflame after a possible mantle fire draft. She died roughly twenty minutes later. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 pm by Rev Peyton. Interment followed at Craig Cemetery. Survived by three sons and three daughters.

Twenty Gallons of White Mule Found Along River Road
A Petersburg man found four to five gallon jugs of alcohol on a garbage pile near the river road after he saw a car stop near Blake Lembo’s residence. The jugs were new and empty with a strong hootch odor, suggesting twenty gallons were disposed of by occupants who fled down the river road. The identities of the parties remain unknown.
