Captain W H Hart Dies in Indianapolis
Captain W H Hart died at his Woodruff Place home in Indianapolis after a period of serious illness. Funeral held in Indianapolis, remains sent to Frankfort for interment. survived by widow, one daughter Miss Mary, and a brother John W Hart of Mound City Missouri. Hart, born Evansville, served in the 66th Indiana Company G, rose to editor of the Frankfort Banner, chaired Clint or county Republican committees, served as state auditor, and was noted for independence from party machines. He retired to real estate and insurance in Indianapolis and remained active in politics until death.

Hoyt Arnold sixteen son of John Arnold was shot Thanksgiving Day while climbing a fence. The shotgun's hammer caught in wire, discharged, hitting the fleshy part of his left arm. Surgical care given. doctors expect no permanent damage.

Mrs Narcissus Baldwin Lingo widow of W H C Lingo died at the family residence on Walnut Street at 4 45 yesterday morning after a long illness. Born in Knox county July 15 1844 she married W H C Lingo June 8 1864. The family moved to Petersburg about thirty years ago. Survived by sons Edward Kansas City and Horace Petersburg and daughter Mrs J R Burger Petersburg. Funeral at the family residence at two thirty this Friday afternoon with interment at Walnut Hills cemetery.
