Russia at War Rumors and Balkan Plans Across Europe
Telegraph reports nearly confirm Russia has effectively declared war by moving into the Maldivian Turkish border region along the Prath river. The Paria Siecle outlines a Bulgaria corps deployment of up to 100,000 men to the Danube and Balkans, with a fleet support to Caucasus insurgents and a joint Anglo French Turkish assault on Russian naval power in the Black Sea. The Besika Bay fleet and British and French ships are listed, with Turkish forces ready for action and staff named for Bulgarian and Erzeroum armies. The note also mentions a Bishop Green letter about Dr. Ives on priestly ordination and a Shewoaplock exchange with a blunt Yankee retort.
