Ole Nelson entertained friends with an Indian style clam steam in his Water and Gordon streets cellar. Union Pacific tests motor car No 2 at speed in Nebraska
In Omaha on September 16 the Union Pacific ran motor car No 2 from Omaha to Valley and back with fifty seven aboard, mainly railway officers. It reached 52 miles per hour and completed the return trip six minutes quicker than the Overland Limited, the railroad’s best train.

Two Autos Reported In Fatal Bridge Crash
Two automo biles passed through here en route to New York this morning. One car numbered 19742, a late 1905 touring model, appeared wrecked and was being towed by another car numbered 12902 with four men aboard. A witness said the injured car had collided on the Keyport bridge yesterday, killing the driver and his wife. local officials at Keyport denied any such accident.
