Runaway horse crashes into fence at Spitzer stable yard
A horse belonging to S. Spitzer bolted from a weighted hitch near Kearny avenue and Lewis street just before 6 pm. It careened through Market and King streets, into Smith and State, then crashed through the open gate at Spitzer's stable yard, wrecking the buggy. the horse was recaptured unharmed.
