Moon changes in March list the last quarter on the 4th new moon on the 34th first quarter on the 17th full moon on the 25th.
The 1910 Perth Amboy council special meeting discussed applying to Middlesex Circuit Court to appoint three disinterested residents as commissioners to estimate benefits from three sewer projects, including 15 and 18 inch pipes on Cortlandt and Penn streets and a 12 inch line on Neville street. The vote recorded no nays, with Hornsby, Larson, Dalton, Sandbeck, and Voorhees approving. The meeting adjourned afterward.
Carl Christensen rose from a poor boy in Denmark to a successful mason contractor in Perth Amboy. He left Germany for America in youth, landed in 1889, and faced early hardship before joining local firms and starting his own contracting business in 1896. He built major city structures and resides at State and Paterson. He married Mary Hansen in 1896 and serves on the Board of Education plus various Danish groups.
