Prisoner Jerry Connors forty five, arrested yesterday by Detective Huff on suspicion of horse stealing, is confined in the lockup. Police identify him as the alleged professional thief who took a team wagon and harness valued at four hundred plus sixty dollars in a pattern of recent Morris Somerset Hunterdon county thefts. Owners Wychoff Compton and Hunter accompanied by Detective Totten identified the property and signed complaints. Connors claimed Plainfield residence and said rig bought from a stranger there.
