Fords residents discuss sewer plan with officials
In Woodbridge on July 19 about seven and a half dozen Ford residents met Township Committee and Engineer Tice at the Fords fire house to review proposed sewage plans. A chemical system could reduce sewer pipe costs by about 8000 dollars by purifying sewage before it reaches the tank. Residents voiced concerns about fumes from National Synthetic Company and requested sidewalks with assessments on abutting property. Funeral for Mrs Rose Maher in South Amboy
Funeral services for Mrs Rose Maher were held at her daughter’s home on Goodwin Street, then a solemn mass at St Marys Church led by Rev Charles Farran. Interment followed in St Marys Cemetery in South Amboy, with many friends and relatives in attendance. Edward Johnson, a former South Amboy resident, died at his Bayonne home. Funeral services were held last night and interment was today.

District Court Hears Three Judgments by Judge Hommann
