A Braga Hall Saturday night event by the Braga Singing Society drew a large crowd for a Danish concert lasting over two hours. After the program, dancing to Prof Hostelet’s orchestra continued until about 12:30, followed by a supper upstairs and more dancing.
The Daughters of Liberty elected officers for the upcoming term including Councellor Mrs. Lillian Boyer and vice councellor Miss Anna Gerns. Installation is planned for next Monday with a collation. Anna Saybor and three others were obligated and will be initiated at the next meeting.

The Juvenile Lodge I O G T hosted a Christmas party at I O G T Hall with about sixty five children and their parents. Peter Jensen as Santa distributed gifts from a decorated tree, followed by bountiful refreshments. Elders enjoyed dancing and ringing out the old year, leaving around two.
The 1906 City Council welcomed Alderman Warter from the fourth ward with remarks from Alderman Pfeiffer. Pfeiffer urged diligent service, frugal expenses, and safeguarding taxpayers’ interests as the council begins a new term. Warter expressed gratitude and commitment to best efforts, praising the 1905 board. The meeting adjourned to continue later.

Court Amboy No 58 Foresters of America will install officers in Washington Hall tomorrow night by invitation only. Numerous high officers are expected to attend and may speak. A turkey supper will follow the installation.
Special to the Evening News reports a Public Service Corporation price reduction in New Brunswick effective yesterday. The move lowers the rate that had previously stood for a thousand feet, marking a notable gas cost decrease for residents.
At a George B Melan Engine Company meeting Sunday noon it was decided to host a supper for ladies who helped at the recent fair. The event will be at Washington Hall Thursday night with reports indicating strong support. The fair is described as among the best held in the city in recent memory. John Hanson Buried. The funeral was at 2 O'clock this afternoon at the late residence 19 Parker, with services at Our Saviour's D. Ufeh at 2:30.
