Yonkers New York December 1 twenty year old La Vere Tallman and nineteen year old Beatrice Sanders ran away from Newark on September 18 lived six weeks in a Catskill cave then moved to a sparsely furnished room in Yonkers awaiting their parents. They claimed to be married but Newark police said the claim false. They admitted they had run away due to parental objections and had no marriage. mutual friend Walter Keller suggested the cave life. They supported themselves with fish and small game until cold weather drove them to Yonkers.
