Twenty eight cars carry Simpson church excursion to Ocean Grove
Twenty eight cars will carry excursionists from this city to Ocean Grove and Asbury Park for the annual Simpson Methodist Episcopal church union excursion with out of town churches on Thursday. The trip depends on weather. if storms arrive the railroad will be notified to postpone. The train departs Central depot in two sections at 8 45 with Asbury Park bound first section and South Amboy stop for second. return trips from Asbury Park at 6 45 and 9 20 with both sections stopping at South Amboy. One car on each train will serve luncheon and baby carriages. Out of town churches include St Pauls and Bethel Tottenville, John Street South Amboy, and Presbyterian Metuchen.
