J B Henderson, alleged advertising scheme creator, was arrested by Marshal Willis after a telegraph from Hardin County Sheriff. He faced charges for jumping a board bill in Iowa Falls. Deputy Harris later found a second escapee in Ft. Dodge and plans to return him to Eldora.
The anniversary of the order of Daughters of Rebekah will be observed on September 20 in Perry with Edna Rebekah Lodge as hostess. Lodges across the county are expected to attend a public program at a church. The afternoon features the order’s secret work demonstration. The Rebekah Order is an auxiliary of the Odd Fellows.
Rain last night causes the Presbyterian church concert to be postponed until Saturday night. Tickets from last night will be valid for Saturday. Tonight there will be no admission fee but a collection will be taken.
