A quick thinking assistant postmaster intervened, detaining the suspect and preventing the robbery.
The Sunday School convention in the county met at Waukee on Wednesday with fair attendance and excellent interest. Although not all named on the program spoke, volunteers filled in on talxas and platform meetings. W. A. Rail was re-elected president, F. W. Wiltse vice-president, and Wm. Reboris of Adel secretary for another year. Next year the convention will be at Redford. Participants included Perry delegates Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Wiltse, J. B. Jones and J. C. Gures.
A delegate convention is called for Dexter on Wednesday by Powser Co New York. The Demand of the Fifth Judicial District outlines representation for Democrat Guthert Dallas.

The letter describes trips and incidents of the voyage and rests before further travel. Publication of the full letter is promised in the next issue.
