Sam, Former Local Conductor, Dies After Illness
Sam, long a popular conductor who moved to Council Bluffs a year or two ago, died after a period of failing health. His remains were brought to Perry Monday evening and the funeral held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 from the Christian church, conducted by Rev. Rowlison with the Order of Railway Conductors in charge. Mrs. Craig plans to return to Perry with her two children to make their home there.

Mrs Edmonson Dead In Dallas Five Years A Mournful Passing
Mrs Mary Edmonson wife of M B D Edmonson died Saturday May 13 after years of patient suffering. Native of Pennsylvania she resided in Dallas county with her husband for twenty five years and in Perry for eight. She leaves eight children and a sorrowing husband and family. Funeral from the Baptist church Monday afternoon with Rev Roschburger of the Congregational church officiating.
