English Scottish and Irish Armies Reported Mobilizing
From Edinburgh and London dated August 9 to August 15 1652 reports say highlanders number about 4000 led by Glescarne with Adid dleton among a few English officers. Lord Lorne is named among west country correspondents while Seaforth Afzeloxd hive raised men. No clear direction of movement is given. The city printers are listed as F Leach and E riffit in the Old daily.
