At Pepin Wisconsin, the County Board of Supervisors convened in the Clerk’s office. Officers appointed committees on expenses, sheriff and constable affairs, treasurer and tax assessment, and county offices. The board approved accounts for stationery and printing, set juror apportionment, and adjourned to a later date with actions to cover county books.
On motion Afr Washburn the board adopts paying audited bills and per diem for members. A resolution to publish proceedings in the Pepsy Press if costs stay under 13 dollars is approved. The board adjourns with Henry Barber as chair and A B Suavur as clerk. Seventy years progress notes Washington’s early tours and U.S. growth era contrasts, with historical observations and a miscellaneous, garbled section on a Connecticut court and post office letters.
