Similkameen Valley journey reveals Indian land limits and mine views

Young People form Christian Union in Methodist Church

About twenty five to thirty youths met on Tuesday evening to organize a non denominational Young People’s Christian Union. Rev. R W Hibbert was elected President with Miss Dexter and Miss Mackinlay as vice presidents, J I Tupper secretary, Miss F Thompson treasurer. Executive includes representatives from Baptist Nagland Church, I C Harris Presbyterian, Miss Thompson Methodist, Miss Hie. Meetings set for Tuesday 8 pm at the Methodist church focusing on religious and spiritual growth with literary and social development also planned. All young people and interested older members are invited.
