Memorial service honors circus accident victims in Snyder Township
The annual memorial service recalls the 1958 onward deaths from a circus train wreck. Attendees include Senator John Eichelberger and circus officials while archaeologists preserve burial site remains. Next year’s service is planned for the last Wednesday of May with ongoing commemorations.

Residents Honor Veterans With Flags at Cemetery Site
Maniysa and partner spent Tuesday placing American flags at the gravesite of every veteran in the cemetery. The project spans Civil War to Vietnam era service and is funded by donations and personal funds. Planned steps include benches around the monument, shrubs, a walkway, and a flagpole. The Door project offers meals and camp for teens
The Door provides family style meals and group activities for dozens of teens. This summer the annual Summer Camp runs August 7 to 12, funded entirely by donations, with a goal of 1500 dollars per 100 teens totaling 15000 dollars. The Taylors describe teens gaining college, military, and career paths with ongoing support.
