Josefik's Tang Soo Do marks 40 years in Tyrone
Master Gary S. Josefik and his Tang Soo Do studio celebrate four decades in Tyrone on Logan Avenue. Since 1979 he opened additional studios in Altoona Morrisdale Huntingdon Clamor Warriors Mark and Hollidaysburg, creating a regional network and several outreach programs.

Tyrone Borough reports code violations and permit reminders
The Tyrone Borough Code Enforcement officer notes two swimming pool project violations and 21 grass and weed violations this month. Permits are required for private property projects including pools, fences, roofs and sheds with fines up to 600 dollars for violations. Pools under 18 inches deep and certain plastic pools are exempt.

At the June 10 meeting Court St. Rita 523 of St. Matthew's Tyrone named Susan Ronan Woman of the Year for 2019 2020. Ronan served four years as Financial Secretary and helped anchor many Catholic Daughters projects and events.
