Two men arrested after daylight break in
Tyrone Police responded to a burglary in progress on Adams Avenue just after 2:30 p.m. Witnesses saw one man lift another into the residence through a kitchen window. Officers located Jacob Allen Emerick, 22, outside the home and David Norman Denny, 23, inside the residence.

Tyrone man charged after incident at Save-A-Lot
Ronald F. Shaw 51 of Tyrone was charged after an August 7 incident at Save-A-Lot 111 W 13th St. He was taken for public drunkenness. Police seized multiple prescription drugs and alcohol from Shaw and his bicycle. A preliminary hearing with Judge Fred B. Miller is set for October 2.
