Curwensville Municipal Authority said grant funding for lateral replacements is not feasible due to low rates, lack of qualifying industries, and matching fund requirements. Authority notes past DEP mandates and that over 50 percent of terra cotta laterals have been replaced at owners’ expense. Next meeting set for Oct 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the borough building.
