The Alzheimer's Association invites Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, and Jefferson County residents to join Memory Walk at Memorial Park in DuBois on Sept 19. Registration at 9 30 a.m. with the walk starting 10 30 a.m. The event aims to support Pennsylvania residents living with Alzheimer's and fund research.

Officials said a scheduled walkout by Bay Area transit workers was averted when management and the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1555 reached a tentative four year contract.
